South Florida resident Denis Watson became a professional golfer in 1976. After turning 50, Watson joined the Champions Tour and won the
2007 Senior PGA Championship at Kiawah Island. The win was one of the most remarkable comebacks ever seen in professional golf. Since his
return, Watson has become one of the Champions Tour’s most competitive stars. He took several awards in 2007, including “Rookie of the Year”
and the “Ben Hogan Award.” In 2008, Denis won the FedEx Kinko’s Classic in Austin, Texas and the AT&T Champions Classic.
